Recently, Yahoo has ventured into the smartphone space by launching its first flagship smartphone with its parent company Verizon. With its launch, Yahoo is aiming to push its mobile service, launched in March.

Yahoo’s flagship phone sport a 5.45-inch HD display, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It is made by ZTE and it is called the Blade A3Y. The smartphone runs on Android 10 and comes with a 2,660mAh battery, fingerprint sensor on the back and the face unlock feature.

Yahoo Mobile ZTE Blade A3Y have a single 8-megapixel rear camera with two dual-LED flash and 5-megapixel sensor in front for photos and videos. Its fingerprint sensor is on the back and the phone measures 5.77×2.79×0.38 and weigh 161.8 grams.  

CNET quoted, Verizon Media CEO Guru Gowrappan, as “Over time the company may expand the perks it offers based on the Yahoo services that its customers want.”   

Yahoo mobile is available on Yahoo Mobile ZTE Blade A3Y, the iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 Pro. The service will be available with the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini in November.
